You got into this field to make a difference.
But nobody warned you about the weight of it.

BCBAs and their teams carry an enormous load — complex cases, high expectations, and a culture that rarely makes space for the humans doing the work. The result is compassion fatigue, staff turnover, and excellent clinicians quietly leaving the field. It doesn’t have to be that way.

Training That Meets Everyone Where They Are

Families & Caregivers

Practical, compassion-based strategies that help parents and caregivers show up more effectively — and more sustainably — for their loved ones with autism.

Clinical Staff & BCBAs

ACT-based professional development designed to reduce burnout, reconnect staff with their values, and build the psychological flexibility to handle the hardest moments with confidence.

Consumers & Clients

Skills-based training that supports the individuals you serve — building acceptance, flexibility, and meaningful engagement in everyday life using evidence-based behavioral tools.

This Isn’t Your Typical CEU Training

Every session is interactive, grounded in behavioral science, and built around takeaways your team will actually use long after the day is done.

Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassionate ABA, and frameworks from Hanley’s Today’s ABA, Mary bridges the gap between clinical excellence and human sustainability.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Building psychological flexibility so clinicians can act on their values even in the most challenging moments.

Compassionate ABA

Modern ABA practice centered on dignity, relationship, and the wellbeing of everyone in the room.

Interactive & Customized

Sessions run 1–3 hours and are shaped around what your team needs most — not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

“I really love using these concepts to help BCBAs reduce burnout and refocus on the joy — and commit to self-care.”

While trying to reach your destination, have you lost your direction?

The kids are finally grown and out — and now it’s supposed to be your time. But do you remember who you are? Maybe every unexpected phone call from a parent starts with your stomach dropping: “What’s wrong now?” You’re caring for the people who once cared for you, juggling worry, guilt, and the quiet question: “Am I overreacting?”

Coaching with Mary isn’t about learning to feel better. It’s about choosing to do better and be better — committing to actions based on what matters most to you, instead of the shoulds. Together, you’ll move from who you think you should be toward who you dream to be, with the willingness and courage to take real steps toward a life of abundance.

Coaching is ACT-informed guidance and skill-building. It is not therapy and is not a substitute for mental health treatment.

Where we’ll begin

  • “What are you avoiding?” — naming what’s hard, without judgment.
  • “What brings you joy?” — reconnecting with what you’ve set aside.
  • Self-care instead of just other-care — without the guilt.
  • Being willing to show up in the present moment.
